How to add existing cameras back to Nest Aware Subscription
Nest Aware Subscription If you have upgraded your Nest Aware subscription to a new data plan and need to add existing cameras back into the Nest Aware subscription, follow these steps:
Section: 1. Login at nest.com/nest-known-cameras/
Section: 2. Click “Existing Cameras.”
- Click “Add New Camera” on the right side of the screen.
- Select your camera from the list and click “Continue.”
Log into your mynest.com account.
Log into your mynest.com account and click on the menu icon in the top left corner of your screen to access subscriptions.
At the bottom of this page, click on “Add more cameras”

If you want to add your existing cameras back to Nest aware subscription, follow these steps:
- Click on the menu icon in the top left corner of the screen.
- Click on “Subscriptions” from this menu, which will take you to a page with all your subscriptions listed there and their status (Active or Expired).
- Select an existing subscription that’s been expired by typing its name into search field at upper right corner of this section (this will display only active subscriptions). For example, if I wanted my Amazon Cloud Cam and Ring Doorbell 2 devices added back into my account, I would type “Amazon” into this field and press enter key; then select “Amazon” from next dropdown list which appears below it.
Click on “Subscriptions”
To add an existing camera to your NestAwaresubscription, you’ll need to log in to your mynest.com account and click on the menu icon in the top left corner of the screen. Then select “Subscriptions.” At this point, you should see all of your cameras listed on this page. If not, make sure that you’re logged into your account before proceeding further!
Once at this screen, scroll down until you see “Add more cameras” at bottom of page (you may need to scroll down). Clicking on this button will bring up another window where it asks if you want to add a new camera or import data from an existing one; depending on which option is selected here will determine how many additional cameras are added into Nest Aware subscription
At the bottom of the page click on “Add more cameras”
At the bottom of the page, click on “Add more cameras”.
Enter your camera’s serial number and select your subscription plan (if you have not previously added a camera to Nest Aware). The following screen will inform you that it is adding a Nest Aware subscription and that it will take up to 48 hours for your new camera to be added.
Select which camera you want to add to your NestAware Subscription plan.
To add a camera to your Nest Aware subscription plan, first select which camera you want to add.
You can choose from the list of cameras that appear on the left side of the page.
To select a different camera from another account, just click its name in the list and you’ll see an option to “Add Free Trial” under “Subscribe Now.” This will make it so that when prompted for payment information during installation, you can choose an account other than yours for payment details (but not if there is already one active subscription plan).

There is a limit to the number of cameras that you can add to your nest aware subscription: 10. If you are already at this limit, don’t worry—you can still add more cameras at any time, even if your account has reached its limit for the number of cameras.
Adding a new camera to your Nest Aware subscription will give you access to the wide range of features Nest offers. You can view live video from any Nest Aware compatible device, like the Nest Cam or Dropcam Pro, and then find specific scenes with the integrated zoom tool. You can also monitor room temperature and humidity levels through your cameras, which is useful if you’re trying to keep an eye on things around the house while away on vacation.
